I may have accidentally, almost written a book or two!

Well....

That’s what happens when I started tidying up my own writing.

I found things.

Lots of things.

Files galore!

Poems that I’d forgotten about.

A paragraph that makes me think,

Oh, that’s actually rather good.

Another that makes me think, What was I drinking when I wrote this?

And then I started putting them together.

Just to see.

I even learnt how to create folders and file documents into them!

And suddenly there’s a pile of words that are beginning to look suspiciously like content for more than one book!

So that’s what I’ve been doing behind the scenes, as well as continuing to write, of course...

Gathering.

Reading.

Sorting.

Moving things around.

And occasionally rescuing something I thought had no place at all.

I’m not quite ready to tell you exactly what these books are becoming.

Because, honestly, I’m not entirely sure yet.

But I do know there are words, poetic prose and poetry in there about;

being a woman, being human, nature, life and the things we discover along the way.

Some are gentle.

Some are decidedly less so.

And there is a little humour lurking amongst the more thoughtful bits, because apparently I am incapable of taking life entirely seriously.

For now, I’m simply following the words and seeing where they lead.

Although I have a sneaking suspicion they’re leading somewhere.

And I rather like it there.

More to come… eventually.

But I’m not showing you the whole hand just yet....
